Cata con Encanto It is part of the programming of CÁLIDA 922/928 and is held during the main day of the festival at the Hotel Alta Montaña, in Vilaflor de Chasna. The activity includes a guided tasting of wines produced by Bodega Encanto de Vilaflor, led by winemaker and viticulturist David Rodríguez.

During the tasting you will learn about some of the peculiarities of viticulture in Tenerife’s high mountains, the role of native varieties, and the influence of altitude, climate, and volcanic soil on the wines of this area of the island. The winery operates in Vilaflor with vineyards located at high altitudes and featuring local varieties such as the Canary Island Listán Blanco.

The tasting includes a selection of wines from Bodega Encanto de Vilaflor, Available seasonally, it allows visitors to see first-hand the production process and the winery’s wine-making project. Among its references is a Listán Blanco from D.O. Abona, made from old vines, hand-harvested, and with ecological viticulture.
