The Masca Ravine

The Barranco de Masca is, without a doubt, one of the most important hiking activities most spectacular hikes that can be done in Tenerife. This beautiful route begins with a short walk through the picturesque hamlet of Masca, and continues with a descent along the ravine path, covering approximately 10 km in total (outward and return).

The steady descent culminates in a paradisiacal cove, surrounded by the impressive Cliffs of Los GigantesThe beach is located at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level. After a short rest on this beautiful beach, the return trip is made by climbing from sea level to approximately 600 metres above sea level, where the hamlet of Masca is located.

VERY IMPORTANT: In case of non-compliance with any of the necessary conditions, standards, equipment and documentation, the staff of the company in charge of the control of the road (TRAGSA) will deny access and no refund will be made (Pay special attention to footwear.
