Whale and dolphin watching at Los Gigantes

In the southwest of Tenerife is the Teno-Rasca marine strip, the ideal place for whale watching, an area of special protection for endangered marine species and endemic avifauna.

In this activity, we will sail the Atlantic aboard an ecocatamaran with a transparent floor and blue flag, respectful of the environment and its species.

During the first hour, we will cruise these waters to observe various species, including spotted dolphins and the short-finned pilot whale, an endangered species that has found refuge in the waters of Tenerife. Occasionally, we may spot the impressive fin whale, the second largest whale on the planet, and even killer whales during their migrations.

After the sighting, we will head to the majestic cliffs of Los Gigantes. This cliff is one of the most outstanding protected natural areas of the archipelago and is part of the Teno Rural Park, where the impressive Barranco de Masca is located. At the mouth of this ravine, we will stop to drop anchor, enjoy a snack and, for those who wish, take a refreshing swim in these crystal clear waters.
