Vinos & Estrellas It is part of the programming of CÁLIDA 922/928 and it is celebrated during the first day of the festival in Vilaflor de Chasna. The activity combines guided observations of the night sky with a tasting of organic wines from Bodega Ferrera, combining astronomy, landscape, and wine culture into a single proposal.
Accompanied by Isabel Barrera of ESMIRAS Global Events, you will take a tour of the sky of Vilaflor to learn to recognize constellations, stars, and other visible elements during the night, as well as learn about the importance of preserving the dark skies and reducing light pollution.
The experience is completed with a tasting of organic wines from Bodega Ferrera, a family winery with vineyards grown at high altitude on volcanic soils. During the tasting you will learn about some of its varieties and how factors such as altitude, climate and soil influence the character of the wines from Tenerife. Bodegas Ferrera works precisely with organic viticulture and offers experiences linked to wine, the vineyard and astronomical observation.
All of this takes place in the environment of Hotel Alta Montaña, In Vilaflor de Chasna, within a nighttime activity that opens the programming of the CÁLIDA 922/928 before the main day of the festival.
