Enjoy a unique experience at the JAMONES EÌRIZ winery and pasture, in the heart of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park, through a gastronomic guided tour of the 100% Iberian Bellota Ham DOP Jabugo.

The keys to the Senda

The pig in the pasture. For about 50 minutes, we walk through the dehesa of the Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve, Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche in Huelva and we will talk about the genetic characteristics and behaviour of purebred Iberian pigs in their environment. We will explain the "montanera", the "arrobas" and how the JABUGO Denomination of Origin makes the traceability in the field to understand where and how the Iberian pig is raised in the wild.

The preparation of our iberian cured meats. We will pass by our drying shed and visit it for about 45 min. You will learn about the processing of salting of the hams and manual seasoning of the sausagesThe natural healing process we practice and the differences with other more industrial methods.

It will be a visit to our cellars, enjoying the aromas that the product releases as it cures.

The tasting. We will enjoy two types of ham: Iberian Cebo Ham 50%, Iberian Acorn-fed Ham 100% D. O. Jabugo. It will be cut with a knife on the spot and accompanied with D. O. Condado de Huelva wines from Bodegas Díaz: Fruity, Vado del Quema, Dry or generous, fine type.

We will finish the tasting with 100% Iberian loin of acorn-fed pork loin and Iberian loin of acorn-fed pork loin paired with sweet orange wine.

In the case of children under the age of 18, they will be offered soft drinks or juice.

In the case of children under 12 years of age, the amount of the two types of ham to be tasted will be less than that of adults.
