Explore the waters of Fuerteventura and experience the magic of watching dolphins, whales and other marine species in their natural environment with Ecoway Path. The unique characteristics of the Canary Islands waters make this island an exceptional location for whale watching in Fuerteventura, offering an unforgettable experience that connects with nature.
The Canary Islands, and especially Fuerteventura, are key points for the migration and residence of multiple marine species. In recent times, there has been an increase in the sighting of blue whales on their annual migration, a surprising and rare phenomenon that reflects the biological richness of the region. This whale watching experience in Fuerteventura allows you to observe bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, among other cetaceans that inhabit or transit these waters.
Our vessel has the insignia Blue Shipa certification by the Canary Islands Government which guarantees respect for the marine ecosystem and the safety of its occupants. This 12-metre long catamaran, with capacity for 12 people, is equipped with a living room, kitchen, bathroom and an outdoor space ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sun. We will head to areas with depths of up to 1,000 metres, where dolphins and other marine species live and move around.
We have guides specialised in marine biology, available in several languages, who turn this excursion into an interactive and educational experience. Discover the secrets of the ocean and learn more about the behaviour and habitat of these species as you observe them. With the aim of protecting the environment, our crew will guide you on how to proceed during the sightings to minimise the impact on the cetaceans.
The excursion We depart from the port of Corralejo with morning and afternoon departures, depending on the weather conditions. After approximately one hour of sailing to the whale watching areas, we will spend time observing the cetaceans in a respectful way and without disturbing their behaviour. The total duration of the experience is 4 hours, including a possible swim at La Concha beach on Lobos Island, weather permitting.
As the only ones to carry the Blue Boat badge in the area, we not only guarantee a safe experience, but we also offer an activity that is completely respectful of the environment.
