5-day Morocco trip itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech
Pick-up at Marrakech airport and transfer to a traditional Riad near Jemaa el-Fnaa square. First contact with Moroccan culture, its gastronomy and the unique atmosphere of the red city.
Day 2 – Marrakech – Dades Valley
Moroccan breakfast and departure south, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass (2,260 m). Visit to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the city of Ouarzazate. Route through the Valley of Roses and arrival at the Dades Valley, where we will stay in a Kasbah-hotel.
Day 3 – Dades Valley – Sahara Desert
Visit the Todra Gorge and the Tinjdad Palm Grove. Stop in Erfoud, known for its fossils, before arriving at the Merzouga dunes. Camel ride to a luxury tented camp. Dinner and an evening of drumming under a starry sky.
Day 4 – Sahara Desert – Marrakech
Return to Marrakech with stops along the way to enjoy the scenery. Arrival in the red city in the afternoon.
Day 5 – Transfer to the airport
