<strong>one of the best diving destinations in Spain <\/strong>and Europe, this island paradise offers an unbeatable marine topography, together with a rich variety of fauna ranging from the presence of 30 different types of cetaceans, to a huge number of indigenous species, among which we find the lizard fish, parrot fish (known by the locals as vieja), octopus, fire worms, and a long etcetera.<\/p>\n<p>Those who are passionate about underwater life will not be dissatisfied, as the magic comes not only from nature, but also from man: <strong>Lanzarote is home to the highly acclaimed Museo Atl\u00e1ntico Lanzarote, <\/strong>which has placed the island as the icing on the cake in the diving world. <\/p>\n<p>With over 300 sculptures by artist and environmentalist Jason deCaires Taylor, it is located in the south of the island, close to the Bay of Las Coloradas, and is accessible to divers of all levels.<\/p>\n<p>Other submerged wonders worth visiting include <strong>The Cathedral, <\/strong>an impressive cave whose natural architecture simulates that of a cathedral, as the name suggests, and the famous Blue Hole, known for the<strong> species sightings <\/strong>more complicated to see.<\/p>\n<h2>And the Beaches?<\/h2>\n<p>Although Lanzarote is pure beauty underwater, its surface is no less beautiful. <\/p>\n<p>Among the most outstanding beaches are the <strong>Papagayo Beach,<\/strong> accessible by private vehicle, with calm waters and a brilliant blue where you can snorkel, continue diving or simply enjoy a good swim and sunbathe on its fine white sandy shores.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this beach, we also find the <strong>Calet\u00f3n Blanco beach, in the municipality of Har\u00eda, <\/strong>It also has white sand and paradisiacal images, however, the occupancy rate is somewhat higher as it is accessible by public transport. <\/p>\n<p>Other beaches of interest include the various coves of <strong>La Graciosa<\/strong>a small island in the north that is worth exploring and where you will find <strong>The kitchen beach<\/strong>known for the yellow mountain that reigns its coast. <\/p>\n<p>Also the Caleta del Sebo, ideal for kayaking and enjoying a day at the beach with the family, as it has a beach bar where you can eat and drink, and the Caleta del Sebo, where you can also enjoy a day at the beach with your family. <strong>La Francesa beach<\/strong>A totally unspoilt cove where you will only find nature and, of course, sailing boats.<\/p>\n<p>The best known beach on the island, and the most visited, is<strong> Playa Dorada, <\/strong>located in the municipality of Playa Blanca, a tourist area par excellence, where you can find an endless number of restaurants offering the best local cuisine. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the fantastic beaches, you can also find natural swimming pools such as Punta de las Mujeres, in Har\u00eda, or the Charcones del Danubio in Yaiza.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"w-richtext-figure-type- w-richtext-align-center\" data-rt-type=\"\" data-rt-align=\"center\">\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sendaecoway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/619b7cb9822fc02ac20e090e_famara-2221667_1280-768x432-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" loading=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2>Not to be missed in Lanzarote<\/h2>\n<p>Moving away from the beaches, and for those who like to combine physical activity and tourism, a hike in the <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Parque_nacional_de_Timanfaya\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Timanfaya National Park<\/a>The only national park of geological character in the whole country, it is characterised by its lack of vegetation and its \"other-worldly\" landscapes, since<strong> the constant volcanic eruption formed a unique terrain. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u200d<\/strong>Within the park we find the Fire Mountains, a mountain range made of volcanic lava, and two very interesting walking routes, the coastal route that runs along the coast, and the Tramesana route, which is approximately 2km long.<\/p>\n<p>Another place of interest to visit in Lanzarote is <strong>La Santa,<\/strong> a small coastal village whose adjacent waters are strong and therefore suitable for water sports such as surfing and kitesurfing, its small harbour offers lovely views, <strong>perfect place to enjoy a good evening out<\/strong>The tour starts with a good dinner and a local wine while enjoying the panoramic view of the coastline.<\/p>\n<p>To the west, between the Parque de los Volcanes and Timanfaya, you can visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/La_Geria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Geria Natural Park<\/a>known for its curious volcanic physiognomy and for its use in the cultivation of vines, specifically the Malvasia variety. <\/p>\n<p>An important spot on the island worth visiting is the marina of <strong>Puerto Calero<\/strong>especially if our mode of transport to the island is by sea. <\/p>\n<p>It is one of the most emblematic marinas of the archipelago, with dreamlike landscapes characterised by the volcanic origin of the island.
