San Miguel winery, located in the highest municipality in Spain

Altos de Trevejos wines are made in the winery owned by the Alfonso family in San Miguel de Abona, in a large house of traditional Canarian architecture dating back to 1800, listed as an Asset of Cultural Interest.

Located at 1,300 m a.s.l. in Vilaflor, the highest municipality in Spain, very close to the Teide National Park.

There are 24 hectares of vineyards of pre-phylloxera native varieties where the grapes are harvested that give rise to one of the most renowned wines of the island of Tenerife.

Get to know the winery, its vineyards, traditions and taste the Canarian gastronomy

This experience will introduce you to the world of wine and Canarian tradition like never before.

The visit begins with a walk through the vineyards of Altos de Trevejos, a high altitude vineyard. At a viewpoint overlooking the vineyards, you will enjoy an appetizer of Canarian cheeses, gofio and wine.

Afterwards, with your guide, you will visit the San Miguel winery, which includes a demonstration of the winemaking process used by these winemakers following the Champenoise method (Brut Nature).

Finally, the kitchen staff will give you a workshop on Canarian 'mojos' so that you can learn how they are made. The experience ends with a full lunch made with top quality Km zero ingredients.
